In order to take advantage of all the potential of the cloud with a high level of security, the Government has thoroughly reviewed the IT hosting strategy of the State’s services and the bodies under its supervision, on the occasion of the circular of 5 July 2021 relating to the doctrine for the use of cloud computing by the State (trusted cloud).

From now on, the State’s departments and the bodies under its supervision must use the cloud as the default hosting method for their IT projects, relying on the State’s shared internal hosting capacities or on trusted private providers.

In this context, for public organisations, changing their operational model means inventing new ways of consuming resources and services by increasingly deploying the use of the cloud, whether private, public or hybrid. Thus, new challenges are emerging to manage these multiple and complex environments of diversity in a multicloud world.
